I am getting ready to get my camera back into action. After a several month break, I'm getting the itch to get it out. Look for a big post coming soon with plenty of pictures.


In the meantime...I was getting ready for bed the other night. I had to go upstairs and turn some lights off. I happen to look down and here was my view. Is this even right? I'm thinking she really isn't supposed to be on the couch. I hope her dad doesn't catch her!



The other night when I was dusting off my camera, Elaina says 'Mom, remember when I was 3 years old and you used to take my picture?' It was then that I realized, I just haven't taken any pictures recently. So, I we ran outside before it got dark and she gave me the sillest faces she could munster. Oh...the joys of being 4!



Lets talk about the weather. Rain & thunderstorms AGAIN tonight. I'm tired of hearing our sump pump running constantly! Just when it slows down it rains again. And it was so freakin' hot today! I'm crossing my fingers for nice weather this weekend.

Settling in...

We are almost completley settled in the new house. Its hard to believe we have already been here for almost a month. We have run into a few snags here and there but for the most part things are coming together. Elaina is having a great time. She loves it here. She can ride her bike and we go for walks around the block. There are kids close to her age and she has been busy playing with them all. Its been great watching her. This weekend was so warm that it felt like summer. You know she isn't a baby anymore when she is wearing flip flops! We got the biggest kick from watching her maneuver in them! I think she has it mastered. Matt laughed that she would be wearing them all summer. I think he is right. Sunday evening came and we had to make her come in. She was covered in dirt, grime and sweat. But she didn't care. She threw a fit cause she wasn't done playing. But after dinner and a bath she fell asleep on the couch before eight o'clock. She was one tired girl!

Whats a post without a picture....I just had to share a photo of our lawn. This yard needs some serious help. And I mean it when I say we have the worst yard in the neighborhood. Its almost embarrassing!

I'm HERE.....

I'm back!!! We have had a very hectic last month. We bought a new house, we re-did it, and we moved! I'm happy to announce we are getting settled and I FINALLY got internet yesterday and things are calming down! I promise to share pictures of the new house...before and after soon. I am so happy that I have my own room dedicated to my photography. It is super nice to have somewhere to go and just get away. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. ( Happy Birthday Mom!!)
I also want to share a couple pictures of Miss S. She will be graduating this year and was a pleasure to photograph.

Another Weekend...

Another one down....And here I am... another Sunday evening. Where does all the time go? Seems like yesterday that I had sleepless nights with a newborn. E informed me over the weekend that she would have to get some big kid toys. She is outgrowing some of her current ones. She never fails to surprise me. This little girl holds my heart in her hands every moment of every day. I get a little teary eyed when I think that she is no longer a baby. We talk alot about her growing up. She loves to tell me about her friends at school and what her teachers say. She can give me the play by play as to who's parent picked up who first. She tells me that she used to watch such and such show when she was 3. So and So is going to be a big sister. And that she doesn't know why she is so shy. She is looking forward to riding a school bus in kindergarten. She can't wait to go to Holiday World this year, she wants to ride a roller coaster. When she gets a little bigger she is going to ride ALL the roller coasters. Ha! Someone once said to cherish them because they grow up so fast. And they weren't lying! While I still have some time...I can't believe how fast the past 4 years have gone. In another 4 years she will be 8. That really makes me sad!


And now its time to share another little Angel. I had the pleasure of taking his Angel photo. And he was a pure Angel. I just love his big brown sparkly eyes!
